After the Wyndham Championship finished up on Sunday, PGA Tour players started focusing on this week's event, the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind.

TPC Southwind Location

The FedEx St. Jude Championship will take place at TPC Southwind in Memphis, TN. It's set to tee off on Thursday, August 11.

TPC Southwind Weather

The forecast for the FedEx St. Jude Championship calls for humidity with morning showers and a high of 88 degrees on Thursday. Fortunately, things look promising beyond that. The temperature will remain in the high 80s/low 90s from Friday to Sunday with sunny skies mixed with clouds. There also isn't a call for rain outside of Thursday.

TPC Southwind History

Opened in 1988, TPC Southwind was the design work of course architect Ron Prichard. Widely considered one of the best courses in Memphis, it was the home of the now defunct FedEx St. Jude Classic.
