Updated:

Week 4 was once again unpredictable for tight ends in fantasy football. Some top options failed to produce, while a few widely available players put up big numbers.

If you're in need of TE help, here's our top three streaming tight end picks (rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues) to target on the waiver wire.

Streaming TE Fantasy Football Week 5

3. Will Dissly, Seattle Seahawks (3%)

It's about time fantasy managers start paying attention to the role Will Dissly takes on in Seattle's offense. The fifth-year pro has appeared in a career-high 63% of the offensive snaps so far, which outshines the mark posted by Noah Fant (56%). Dissly has also hauled in all 12 of his targets on the season for 116 yards and scored a touchdown in three of the Seahawks' four games this season. That level of consistency is not found too often at the TE spot. A tough matchup against the New Orleans Saints is the only thing stopping Dissly from being a must-start player this week. His touchdown upside is enough to justify an add, though.

2. Mo Alie-Cox, Indianapolis Colts (5%)

Mo Alie-Cox is showcasing why he is the perfect example of a boom-or-bust player in fantasy football. After racking up only 44 yards on 4 receptions across Indianapolis' first three games, the veteran TE erupted for 85 yards and 1 touchdown on 6 receptions in Week 4. Yes, he is part of a deep TE rotation for the Colts, but he may be their best receiving option outside wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. That bodes well for his chances of balling out against a Denver defense that is giving up the 13th-most PPR fantasy points to opposing TEs in 2022. Look for Alie-Cox's role to keep increasing if he can replicate his success from Sunday.

1. Tyler Conklin, New York Jets (42%)

It's not going to be long before Tyler Conklin is no longer eligible to be on this list because he is rostered is over 50% of Yahoo! leagues. After all, the Jets standout ranks as the No. 8 TE in PPR-scoring leagues, averaging a weekly score of 11.6 points. Even with a different quarterback throwing his way in Zach Wilson, Conklin still saw at least 5 targets for the fourth straight game in Week 4. He has logged 136 receiving yards over the last two weeks and is playing in north of 85% of the offensive snaps for New York. Pick up the 27-year-old before it's too late and start him against a Miami Dolphins defense that is allowing the sixth-most PPR fantasy points to opposing TEs.
