Top Fantasy Football Streaming Tight Ends for Week 4

Updated:

Week 3 was once again unpredictable at tight end in fantasy football. Some top options failed to produce, while a few widely available players put up big numbers.

If you're in need of TE help, here's our top three streaming tight end picks (rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues) to target on the waiver wire.

3. Hayden Hurst, Cincinnati Bengals (21% Rostered)

Though Hayden Hurst busted with just 1.7 PPR points in Week 3, it's worth noting he was dealing with a groin injury. Assuming he's close to 100% for Thursday Night Football, he's a solid streaming option. The veteran earned 15 targets over his first two games, becoming a clear weapon for Joe Burrow in this loaded offense. He now faces a Miami Dolphins defense that has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends (18.33) this season, making this a great spot for him to bounce back if healthy.

2. Tyler Conklin, New York Jets (22%)

Tyler Conklin just continues to produce. He put up 16.4 PPR points in Week 3, good enough for TE4 and his third straight double-digit outing. Conklin has become a feautured piece of this offense, ranking second on the Jets in targets (24) and yards (140) while tying for the team lead in receptions (18). A major change could be on the way, though, with Zach Wilson expected to replace Joe Flacco under center. A QB switch could hurt Conklin, but if his usage continues like this, managers will be kicking themselves for not picking him up.

1. Robert Tonyan, New England Patriots (29%)

Robert Tonyan saw an encouraging workload in Week 3 that could bode well for him going forward. Tonyan registered a season-high 7 targets this past Sunday, which he converted into 6 receptions, 37 yards and 9.7 PPR points. The Packers' banged-up wide receiving corps opens up an opportunity for Tonyan to reestablish himself as a top option for Aaron Rodgers, especially in the red zone. The veteran could have a very productive day against the New England Patriots, who have given up the fourth-most PPR points per game to tight ends this season.
