Top Fantasy Football Streaming Tight Ends for Week 15 Playoffs (Chigoziem Okonkwo Bursts Onto the Scene)

Updated:

The fantasy football playoffs are finally here. If you've made it this far, hopefully, you have locked-in starting option at tight end. The Duel is here to help, though, if your TE position is shaky.

Here are our top three streaming tight end picks (rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues) to target on the waiver wire in Week 15.

Streaming TE Fantasy Football Playoffs Week 15

1. Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints (vs ATL)

After a quiet Week 12, it was revealed Juwan Johnson had an ankle injury. That ailment prevented him from suiting up the following game, and New Orleans had a bye in Week 14. Now that he's had ample time to recover, Johnson should slot right back into top streamer status. Johnson scored a touchdown in three straight games from Weeks 9-11, posting at least 12.2 PPR points in every contest. He has emerged as a clear favorite target of Andy Dalton when in scoring position, which is a major benefit at a TD-dependent position like TE. Johnson also draws a great matchup in the Atlanta Falcons, who are allowing the seventh-most PPR points per game to his position this season.

2. Chigoziem Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans (@ LAC)

Chigoziem Okonkwo has officially arrived. After weeks of flashes, the rookie tight end boomed in Week 14, posting a season-high 18.5 PPR points thanks to his 6 receptions for 45 yards and 1 TD. Chig has now seen at least 5 targets in each of the last three weeks as he becomes a featured part of this offense. Tennessee is even lining up the TE as a wide receiver at times to help maximize his playmaking ability. Given the Titans' weak pass-catching corps, Okonkwo figures to have plenty of chances to produce once again on Sunday.

3. Tyler Conklin, New York Jets (vs DET)

Tyler Conklin remains a solid streaming option once again. He garnered 8 targets in Week 14, which he turned into 5 receptions, 28 yards and 7.8 PPR points. The arrival of Mike White as starter has made this New York Jets more passing friendly, which gives Conklin a chance to put up respectable numbers. He now faces a leaky Detroit Lions defense that's giving up the fifth-most PPR points per game to TEs this season, making Conklin a smart play.
