Top Fantasy Football Streaming Tight Ends for Week 13 (Foster Moreau is the Real Deal)

Updated:

At this stage in the season, the tight end position is as thin as ever, especially with Kyle Pitts officially being ruled out for the year. While there aren't too many quality TE options on the waiver wire these days, there are still a few that could help fantasy managers down the stretch.

If you're in need of TE help, here are our top three streaming tight end picks (rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues) to target on the waiver wire.

Streaming TE Fantasy Football Week 13

3. Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars (@ DET)

Evan Engram has gone cold over the past few weeks, managing just 5 catches on 7 targets for 26 receiving yards in this last three games combined. Thankfully, he's in a great bounce-back spot in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions' atrocious defense. The Lions are giving up the fourth-most passing yards per game in the NFL and Engam has had success against them in the past, tallying 2 touchdowns and 89 receiving yards in two career games versus Detroit. This game also has the second-highest projected total (51.5) on the Week 13 slate, so Trevor Lawrence should be throwing the ball a fair amount and there will be plenty of fantasy points to go around. Bank on Engram rebounding with a solid performance here.

2. Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints (@ TB)

Juwan Johnson was shut out along with the rest of the New Orleans Saints' offense in Week 12, failing to catch either of his 2 targets as the Saints were blanked in San Francisco. He'd been on a roll before that, though, hauling in 5 touchdown catches over his previous five games combined. Look for him to find more success against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who allowed him to catch 4-of-7 targets for 40 yards in Week 2. Johnson is a borderline TE1 this week.

1. Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders (vs LAC)

Foster Moreau has stepped up for the Las Vegas Raiders since Darren Waller went down and has been a steady fantasy performer all season long. He's notched at least 28 receiving yards in all eight of his starts this year, giving him a stable floor heading into this weekend's AFC West divisional matchup. He's also seen more usage in the red zone lately with 2 touchdown catches over his last three games, giving him plenty of upside in a game with the third-highest total (50.5) in Week 13. Moreau projects as a viable TE1 this week.
