Top Fantasy Football Streaming Quarterbacks for Week 4

Updated:

Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season featured some disappointing results from the top quarterbacks in fantasy football. Meanwhile, a handful of waiver-wire QBs put together some great outings.

If you're thinking about a change at QB for Week 4, here are our top three streaming quarterback picks (rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues) to target on the waiver wire.

Streaming QB Fantasy Football Week 4

3. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions (45% Rostered)

Jared Goff makes the list once again despite an underwhelming performance against the Minnesota Vikings. Though Goff managed to put up only 13.88 fantasy points in Week 3, he has an excellent bounce-back opportunity against the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle has been just okay against quarterbacks in 2022, giving up a healthy 240.3 passing yards per game and an average of 17.51 fantasy points to QBs per contest. Goff showcased his upside when he put up 26.04 fantasy points in Week 2, and that potential alone makes him one of the best streaming options still widely available.

2. Jacoby Brissett, Cleveland Browns (4%)

Jacoby Brissett turned heads with his passing performance in Week 3. He carved up a good Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns, good enough for 17.9 fantasy points and a QB12 finish. That shows he can be a borderline starter in a 12-team league, and he's got just the matchup to keep it going. The Atlanta Falcons have given up the sixth-most passing yards per game and nearly 20 fantasy PPG to opposing QBs so far. They also rank third-worst in Football Outsiders' pass-defense DVOA metric, so Brissett should feast against a lackluster secondary.

1. Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks (9%)

Goff isn't the only streaming quarterback to consider from Sunday's Lions-Seahawks matchup. Geno Smith is coming off of a QB7 finish in Week 3 after he put up 325 yards and 2 TDs against Atlanta. Now he faces a Detroit defense that has allowed all three quarterback it's faced in 2022 to record at least 240 passing yards. That inability to shut down passing offenses has played a big role in this team surrendering the second-most fantasy PPG to QBs this season. Seattle is projected as a 4.5-point underdog in this contest, meaning Smith should be very busy as a passer, giving him a clear path to another solid week.
