Week 16 of the NFL season featured excellent performances from quarterbacks across the league, including some not widely rostered in fantasy. Week 17 presents a chance for managers dealing with an injury at the position or looking to shake things up to add a streaming option from the waiver wire.

If you find yourself in that boat this week, here are our top three streaming QB picks (rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues) to target on the waiver wire.

Week 17 Streaming Fantasy Football Quarterbacks

3. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

It's time to start noticing what is happening in San Francisco. Brock Purdy is garnering late consideration to be named Offensive rookie of the Year for a reason. He has thrown 8 touchdowns compared to 2 interceptions over his last four games and is averaging a reliable 211.5 passing yards during that span. The 23-year-old's floor is one of the highest among streaming options, while his ceiling is rising given the matchup he draws. The Las Vegas Raiders are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs and have only logged 5 interceptions on the season. Las Vegas' lack of talent and depth in the secondary gives Purdy a chance to put together a championship-worthy outing on Sunday.

2. Gardner Minshew, Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles traded for Gardner Minshew in August of 2021 because they believed he could step in when needed and provide a solid performance. That's exactly what he did in a close loss to the Dallas Cowboys last week. Minshew completed 24 of his 40 pass attempts for 355 yards and 3 total touchdowns (2 interceptions). Minshew finished as the No. 5 QB and now gets to face a New Orleans Saints defense that allows nearly 20 more passing yards per game on the road than it does at home. New Orleans also gave up a rushing touchdown to Deshaun Watson last week, so look out for Minshew's legs in this one. One rushing touchdown may be all it would takes for him to post a top-12 finish again.

1. Mike White, New York Jets

Mike White is back. Head coach Robert Saleh has announced that the 27-year-old is ready to make his return from a rib injury and Zach Wilson has been benched for good. Fantasy managers should be rejoicing as White has been nothing but a solid producer when he plays. He has logged over 300 passing yards in two of his three starts this year and has tallied 4 total touchdowns compared to 2 interceptions. The Seahawks have a talented secondary, but they do allow the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing QBs. That's because Seattle has been torched for multiple passing touchdowns in eight of its 15 games this season. White is going to do whatever he can to win this game, so his fantasy production should mirror that.
