Top Fantasy Football Streaming Kickers for Week 8

Updated:

Kickers were busy across the league in Week 7. That led to some big performances, including several from names available on the waiver wire.

Kicker being one of the most high-variance positions in fantasy football makes it the perfect spot to stream. With that in mind, here are our top fantasy football streaming kickers for Week 8.

3. Jason Myers (vs NYG)

Myers has scored the third-most fantasy points among kickers this year but is still widely available in many leagues. The former Pro Bowler has been nearly perfect this year, hitting 15 of his 16 field goal tries and 18 of 19 extra points. He's also benefitted from Seattle's new-look offense with Geno Smith, which ranks fifth in points per game and has helped Myers bang multiple field goals in five straight games. He'll look to extend that streak against the Giants at home this week, who've been stingy in terms of points but rank slightly below average in yards allowed. That means Myers could see a healthy number of kicking opportunities once again.

2. Jake Elliott (vs PIT)

The undefeated Eagles come off of their bye to face the reeling Pittsburgh Steelers, who have lost five of their last six games. The Steelers have one of the worst offenses in the NFL this year and have been surprisingly bad on defense as well, giving up the 11th-most points per game and fifth-most yards per game in the NFL. That sets up Elliott for success here, as Philadelphia should have good field position and put up plenty of points. While he hasn't gotten a ton of field goal tries yet, Elliott has been accurate when called upon, nailing 6-of-7 field goals and 15-of-16 extra points.

1. Jason Sanders (@ DET)

The top kicker streaming option this week is Sanders, who gets to face the abysmal Detroit Lions. Detroit's defense hasn't been able to stop anybody and is giving up the most yards and points per game. Opposing kickers have feasted on them as a result, and Sanders should be no different. The Dolphins kicker is coming off one of his best games of the season after going 3-for-3 on field goal tries against the Steelers on Sunday Night Football. He's yet to connect from beyond 50 yards, but Miami's offense should have a fairly easy time getting into field goal range on Sunday.
