Top Fantasy Football Streaming Kickers for Week 5

Top Fantasy Football Streaming Kickers for Week 5

Updated:

Only two of the top-six drafted kickers from this fantasy football season rank in the top-12 in fantasy scoring at the position.

Kicker is one of the most high-variance positions in fantasy football, and their production tends to be more about the offense they're tied to and their weekly matchup than any sort of individual skill. That makes it the perfect position to stream in fantasy football.

With that in mind, here are our top fantasy football streaming kickers for Week 5.

Streaming Kickers Fantasy Football Week 5

3. Mason Crosby, Green Bay Packers (at CIN)

Mason Crosby has racked up a huge 25 fantasy points over the last two weeks, ranking fourth among all kickers in that time. We saw last week that the Cincinnati Bengals' defense isn't quite as stout as it looked early in the season, giving up 21 points to the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars, and Crosby should keep rolling here.

2. Matt Prater, Arizona Cardinals (vs SF)

The fact that Matt Prater is only rostered in 50% of fantasy leagues is a real head-scratcher. He was already a top streaming pick earlier this season, has his 42 fantasy points rank third among all kickers this season. The only two kickers outscoring him (Justin Tucker and Tyler Bass) are rostered in at least 95% of leagues.

1. Greg Joseph, Minnesota Vikings (vs DET)

Greg Joseph has quietly turned in top-10 production to start the year, and we shouldn't expect him to slow down much this week. The Detroit Lions' defense has allowed the NFL fourth-most points, and they've allowed at least 13 fantasy points to an opposing kicker in two of their four games this year. The Vikings are expected for a dominant win here, as 7.5-point favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook, and Joseph should get plenty of scoring opportunities.
