With the 2023 Valero Texas Open behind us, the golf world's attention is now officially turned to The Masters.

There's no more prestigious event in golf, and winning The Masters can solidify a golfer's legacy. Tiger Woods is one name that's been associated with the tournament for over 25 years. Now, many golf enthusiasts wonder if Woods can tie Jack Nicklaus for the most Masters win of all time this year.

Here's everything you need to know about Tiger Woods' Masters odds and history heading into the 2023 event.

Tiger Woods Masters Odds & Prop Bets (Updated)

Round 3 Update: Tiger made the cut by the skin of his teeth, waiting on Justin Thomas and Sungjae Im to make pars on the final hole of their Round 2s. If both had birdied, Tiger would have been on the outside looking in. Tiger still has an uphill battle to get into contention. He has +100000 odds to win The Masters, which ties him for the worst odds of the remaining players in the field.

Tiger Woods has +8500 odds to win The Masters on FanDuel Sportsbook. Those odds have him sitting at No. 30 in the field and +2000 odds back of the top 25.

Tiger Woods Masters Prediction 2023

Tiger Woods is the first golfer that most people associate with when the Masters Tournament is brought up. After all, he's won the event five times since 1997 and has placed fifth or better on seven other occasions. In other words, exactly 50% of Woods' Masters appearances have ended with a top-five finish.

Having said that, Woods has been trending in the wrong direction at Augusta National. After winning his fifth green jacket in 2019, he finished T38 in 2020 before placing 47th last year after making his return from injury.

Unfortunately, Woods just hasn't been the same since his near-fatal car accident two years ago. He's competed in four PGA events since then, placing T45 or worse in each outing. He hasn't even cracked the top 25 at an event since finishing T9 at the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open.

Those trends point to it being a bad idea to wager any money on the legendary golfer. However, if you're set on it, the only worthwhile option here is a Tiger Woods top-40 finish at -175 odds. While it's great to see that he's still capable of playing the sport he loves, there's just no point in expecting a deep run from the 47-year-old.
