Tiawan Mullen is an interesting NFL Draft prospect aside from his talent. He's also the cousin of former league MVP and current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. Mullen's brother, Trayvon, signed with Baltimore this offseason as well. Tiawan could become the third member of this family to be on the Ravens' roster.

Tiawan Mullen Scouting Report

Mullen made an immediate impact once he joined Indiana, recording a whopping 13 pass breakups and two forced fumbles in 10 games as a freshman. He followed that up with 3 interceptions, 4 passes defended and 3.5 sacks in 2020.

The cornerback played in just five games a junior, but he bounced back to close out his collegiate career strong. The Florida native recorded 8 pass breakups, 2 interceptions and a forced fumble in 2022.

The biggest knock on Mullen's NFL potential is his size. At 5-foot-10 and 181 pounds, he'll struggle to defend taller wideouts, and bigger players will have no problems blocking him.

Tiawan Mullen NFL Draft Prediction

Mullen's playmaking and NFL heritage certainly gives him a chance to be draft. However, it seems likely the cornerback will latch on as an undrafted free agent following this weekend's festivities.

The Indianapolis Colts could be the team to scoop him up. Following the loss of Stephon Gilmore in free agency, this secondary is need of players capable of disrupting opposing passing attacks. Mullen's knack for breaking up passes and picking off throws makes him a player worth taking a flyer on as this team rebuilds.

If the Colts want to make sure they nab their man, they could target Mullen in the seventh round.

Prediction: Indianapolis Colts (Round 7, 236th overall)
