Week 12 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes an SEC collision between the No. 5 Tennessee Volunteers and South Carolina Gamecocks. Tennessee got back on track last week with a massive 66-24 victory against Missouri, capped off by the Volunteers' offense amassing 724 total yards with nine offensive touchdowns.

Doing the opposite of that, South Carolina found itself losing, 38-6, to Florida last weekend. Outside of a second-quarter TD, the Gamecocks couldn't get anything going against the Gators, generating only 237 total yards while fumbling the ball three different times.

Moneyline: TEN: (-2300) | SC: (+1060)
Spread: TEN: -21.5 (-114) | SC: +21.5 (-106)
Total: 65.5 — Over: (-115) | Under: (-105)

Tennessee enters this contest as a heavy favorite on the spread and moneyline. This 7 p.m. ET clash also features a total of 65.5, which is higher than the majority of this week's projected totals.

Tennessee vs South Carolina Prediction & Pick

After Ohio State, Tennessee owns the second-best offense in the nation, averaging 45.4 points per game. Few teams are capable of matching that firepower and South Carolina isn't one of them. The Gamecocks' offense has produced 10 or fewer points in two of their last three outings, which includes a 28-10 loss to the same Missouri team that Tennesse blew out.

On top of that, the Volunteers' backfield — which generates 194.9 rushing yards per game (No. 26) — gets to face the Gamecocks' Swiss cheese run defense. South Carolina has been giving up the 18th-most yards on the ground this season, which has only worsened to an average of 247.7 over the last three games.

Factoring that the Volunteers have also won three straight games in this SEC rivalry, I'm taking Tennessee to be victorious on Saturday.

Final Score Prediction: Tennessee: 47 | South Carolina: 20

Tennessee vs South Carolina Best Bet

When it comes to the best bet, I'm going with Tennessee at -21.5 on the spread. For starters, the Volunteers have covered the spread in nine of their last 12 trips to Columbia, as well as in five of their six games this season. Furthermore, South Carolina is 6-14 ATS in its last 20 games against SEC opponents while also losing to Tennessee by 25 points just last year.

With Tennessee's offense being elite and South Carolina's attack looking anything but that lately, take the Volunteers winning this one in a big way.

Bet: Tennessee -21.5 (-114)
