Talor Gooch PGA Championship Prediction 2023

Talor Gooch returned to the PGA Tour scene at the Masters in early April and ended up finishing T34 in a decent showing. The effort certainly served as a notable boost for the 31-year-old considering he went back to LIV Golf and won the next two invitationals at Adelaide (-19) and Singapore (-17).

More 2023 PGA Championship betting content from The Duel:

Gooch now returns to the PGA Championship, where he has improved his finish with each showing. After missing the cut in 2020, he finished T44 in 2021 and then T20 in 2022. He seems to have worked through whatever frustrations the course caused that resulted in his finish three years ago.

Back-to-back tournament wins is impressive, even if it is outside the PGA Tour scene. Gooch has momentum on his side right now and has shown he can stay in the mix at Oak Hill before. I'll back a top-40 finish (+145) for those reasons alone, but I'm not going to expect anything more than that.
