Super Bowl MVP Prediction & Best Bet

History shows us that quarterbacks tend to walk away with the Super Bowl MVP award and that's no different in Super Bowl 57. While the score may just be 10 points, this game feels a lot like a Philadelphia blowout. Save for the untimely fumble return for a touchdown, it's been all Eagles.

Philly has 17 first downs to Kansas City's 6. They have 270 offensive yards compared to Kansas City's 128. And Jalen Hurts already has 183 passing yards to Mahomes' 83.

Hurts has been in total control of his offense throughout the first half, scoring three different times. He notched two of those touchdowns on the ground as part of his 63 rushing yards. Add another 183 passing yards, 1 touchdown, 0 interception and completing 17-of-22 pass attempts: this game has been all Jalen Hurts.

It's not a bet that will win bettors a massive return, but taking Hurts at -340 odds is the safest option.

There's one caveat to consider. If the Chiefs expect to win this game, it will be thanks to Patrick Mahomes. He's going to be in pain after that late first-half ankle injury, but he's the only way Kansas City walks away with a win. For Chiefs fans out there, don't be afraid of throwing an MVP bet on Mahomes' great +400 odds.

But, I'm playing it safe tonight.

Bet: Jalen Hurts (-340)
