Here's everything you need to know about the 2022 Summer X Games

Where Are the Summer X Games 2022?

The 2022 Summer X Games will be held in southern California for the second straight year. This year's competition also is scheduled to take place in several different venues, just like it did in 2021.

The "Slayground" and California Skateparks' Training Facility (CATF) return as host sites for various skateboard, Moto X and BMX competitions this year. Joining them is the "SloanYard", a backyard-turned-sports-park owned and developed by five-time X Games skateboard gold medalist Elliott Sloan.

Axell Hodges' "Slayground" is located in Encinitas, CA, while CATF and "SloanYard" are both in Vista. This year's X Games will be closed to the public, though a return to in-person attendance and a centralized host venue could come back in the future.
