Stephen Curry has accomplished dozens of things during his illustrious Golden State Warriors career, but one thing he's yet to do is win an NBA Finals MVP award. However, that could all change following his Game 4 performance against the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
Curry carried his team to a 107-97 victory over the Celtics to even the series 2-2. The 34-year-old sharpshooter had a game-high 43 points on a 71.8% true shooting percentage while adding 10 rebounds and four assists. As a result, his Finals MVP odds have gotten a boost.
FanDuel Sportsbook has Curry as the new 2021-22 NBA Finals MVP favorite at -150, which is up from the +190 he was listed at before Game 4. He's now averaging 34.3 PPG, 6.3 RPG, and 3.8 APG in the Finals and looks to keep the ball rolling against Boston in Game 5 on Monday.
The Celtics' Jayson Tatum was the +120 favorite to win the award heading into Friday night but has since fallen to +180. Fellow Boston teammate Jaylen Brown is the only other player with realistic Finals MVP odds, moving down from +300 to +700.
