Shaq Lawson Threatens Eli Apple Over Disrespectful Tweet

The Cincinnati Bengals walked out of Highmark Stadium with an impressive win over the Buffalo Bills this past weekend, but that didn't stop one player from stoking the fire of this budding rivalry. Bengals cornerback Eli Apple, known for his less-than-friendly takes, went on Twitter to criticize a series of Tweets from Stefon Diggs.
But, in classic Apple fashion, he took things way too far with some shade at Damar Hamlin. Bills edge rusher Shaq Lawson saw the exchange and was not pleased.
He fired back Tuesday afternoon on Twittey.
You played a good game @EliApple but disrespect my boy @HamlinIsland situation that shit get you beat up frfr. Keep it on the field.

Lawson sets him straight, "You played a good game [Eli Apple] but disrespect my bow [Damar Hamlin] situation that s*** get you beat up frfr (for real for real). Keep it on the field," read Lawson's Tweet.
Lawson's message, along with thousands of other Twitter replies from angry Bills fans, got the point across to Apple.
The Bengals cornerback walked back his perceived shade with a kind message to Damar just moments later.
Here is Apple's original Tweet and walk-back, for reference.

All love thoughts prayers and concerns to @HamlinIsland as he continues to recover from that tragic incident. Never would I make light of that scary unfortunate scene. This game is truly a dangerous risk to our bodies mind and spirit. Nothing but love to all my football brothers
