With the 2023 Valero Texas Open behind us, the golf world's attention is now officially turned to The Masters.

There's no more prestigious event in golf, and winning The Masters can solidify a golfer's legacy. For someone like Sepp Straka, who's only played once at Augusta previously, staying in the mix has to be at the front of his mind.

Here's everything you need to know about Sepp Straka's Masters odds and history heading into the 2023 event.

Sepp Straka Masters Prediction 2023

Sepp Straka has been busy in the 2022-23 PGA Tour season, playing in a total of 13 tournaments. He has posted five top-30 finishes, including one at the recent Valero Texas Open. The Austrian golfer attacks any course with confidence and that mentality will come in handy when playing at Augusta.

More 2023 Masters betting content from The Duel:

Straka made his Masters debut in 2022 and finished with a score of 293, which was good enough to tie for 30th. It was a solid debut he hopes to build on the second time around this weekend. As it stands, Straka ranks 18th in Strokes Gained (SG): Approach to Green and 50th in SG: Putting.

A dependable short game should allow for Straka to stay in the mix, at least in the early going. Not falling behind with missed putts always helps a golfer make the cut. Straka has made the cut in six of his last seven tournaments and I expect that trend to continue with another made cut (-142) here.
