Updated (Sunday, Oct. 2, 9:40 a.m. EST): The odds for this game have shifted significantly throughout the week after Amon-Ra St. Brown and D'Andre Swift were ruled out for Detroit. The Lions are still favored at home on the spread and moneyline, albeit by 3.5 points now rather than the 6 points they were getting earlier in the week. The total has also moved down from 50 to 47.5, which is still one of the higher projected totals for Week 4.

Oddsmakers are favoring the Lions here and it's tough to disagree. The Seahawks have looked far from good this season and their offense is virtually non-existent. While Seattle did score 23 points last week, Pete Carroll's team only averages 15.7 points per game — tied for fourth worst in the NFL.

On the flip side, the Lions own the second-best offense (31.7 PPG) this season and show no signs of slowing down. Yes, Detroit's defense could use some improvements, but its offense should be more than enough to hand Seattle a loss.

Unless something goes drastically wrong in front of the home crowd, the Lions already have this one in the bag.
