Sea Island Resort Location, Weather & History for the 2022 RSM Classic

PGA Tour players are preparing to head to Saint Simons Island, Georgia for the 2022 RSM Classic at Sea Islands Resort Plantation and Seaside courses.

Sea Island Resort Location

The RSM Classic will take place at Sea Islands Resort, split between their Plantation and Seaside course. It's set to tee off on Thursday, November 17.

Sea Island Resort Weather

The forecast for the RSM Classic is looking like it will be free of precipitation, but also some cooler temperatures than Tour players are used to. Thursday and Sunday will feature temperatures in the mid-50s, while Friday and Saturday will see the temperature creep into the low-60s.

Sea Island Resort History

The first 9-hole course on the Sea Island current property opened in June of 1928. The course was originally designed by Walter Travis, but has recently been redone by Davis Love III and brother Mark.
