Updated:

With the 2023 Valero Texas Open behind us, the golf world's attention is now officially turned to The Masters.

There's no more prestigious event in golf, and winning The Masters can solidify a golfer's legacy. For someone like Sam Burns with only one prior appearance at Augusta, improving has to be at the front of his mind.

Here's everything you need to know about Sam Burns' Masters odds and history heading into the 2023 event.

Sam Burns Masters Odds & Prop Bets (Updated)

Round 3 Update: Despite a strong star to the tournament that has him sitting T6 through two rounds, Sam Burns' live odds to win The Masters are worse than pre-tournament. There are fewer golfers ranked ahead of him (just seven), but he's a distant +4100 to rally to a Green Jacket.

Sam Burns has +3200 odds to win The Masters on FanDuel Sportsbook. This has him tied with Dustin Johnson for No. 14 in the field, ahead of Will Zalatoris (+3400) and behind two golfers at +3000 odds.

Sam Burns Masters Prediction 2023

Sam Burns has put his name on the map during the 2022-23 PGA Tour, posting six top-30 finishes and three top-20 finishes in 11 tournaments. One of those top-10 finishes came at the recent Valspar Championship (March 16-19) where Burns placed sixth after finishing -5 across the four rounds.

More 2023 Masters betting content from The Duel:

Burns has to be hoping his recent success can carry over to Augusta considering he missed the cut at the 2022 Masters. That was the 26-year-old's debut at the storied tournament, which makes the result much more understandable. Challenges such as nerves and unfamiliarity are no longer in play.

A lot of the top betting options for the 2023 Masters are golfers that know how to drive the ball, but Burns ranks ninth in the PGA Tour when it comes to Strokes Gained (SG): Putting. Burns has a clear chance to make up ground via clutch putts, so I'll back a top-30 finish (-155) with confidence here.
