With the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson behind us, the golf world's attention is now officially turned to the PGA Championship.

One of the most prestigious events in golf, the PGA Championship has the ability to launch any golfer's career to new heights. Sahith Theegala will aim to cash in on that opportunity as he remains in search of his first career PGA Tour win.

Here's everything you need to know about Sahith Theegala's PGA Championship odds and history heading into the 2023 event.

Has Sahith Theegala Ever Won the PGA Championship? (Best Finish, Results & History)

Sahith Theegala has never won the PGA Championship. In fact, this weekend will mark the first time he is competing in the storied tournament.

Sahith Theegala PGA Championship Prediction 2023

Sahith Theegala is an exciting young golfer and has already gotten close to securing his first PGA Tour win. He finished tied for second place at the RSM Classic in November and has logged seven top-10 finishes during the 2022-23 PGA Tour campaign. He has yet to get over the hump, though.

More 2023 PGA Championship betting content from The Duel:

The 25-year-old is now set to make his debut on a course that doesn't play to his strengths in almost any way. Oak Hill features smaller greens and severe bunkers, which could be an issue as Theegala ranks outside the top 80 golfers in Strokes Gained (SG): Off the Tee and SG: Approach the Green.

If he is unable to avoid landing in the sand and also puts himself in bad putting situations, Theegala is in for a battle. I'm opting to stay away from him from a betting perspective as this is a course he is not familiar with. Theegala is also coming off a lackluster T56 finish at the Wells Fargo Championship, so you're better off fading him here.
