Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season includes a showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots. The Ravens were poised to go 2-0 in Week 2, however, a fourth-quarter collapse saw them lose 42-38, at the hands of the Miami Dolphins.

On the other hand, the Patriots have momentum on their side following a 17-14 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was an all-around team effort from Bill Belichick's squad, tallying 376 total offensive yards while holding Pittsburgh to just 243 odds with a pair of turnovers.

Ravens vs Patriots Odds & Spread

All NFL betting lines, odds and prop bets are from FanDuel Sportsbook.
Moneyline: BAL: (-148) | NE: (+126)
Spread: BAL: -2.5 (-115) | NE: +2.5 (-105)
Total: 45 —Over: (-106) | Under: (-114)

Updated (Sunday, Sept. 25, 11:30 a.m. EST): Updated odds were provided from FanDuel Sportsbook. Not much on this line has changed. The Ravens see their spread fall from 3 points to just 2.5 points. The over/under total also crept up to 45 points.

The Ravens enter this contest as the favorite on the moneyline and spread on FanDuel Sportsbook's updated odds. This 1 p.m. ET clash also features a total of 43.5, which is pretty average compared to this week's projected NFL totals.

Ravens vs Patriots Prediction & Pick

The Ravens have given up a lot of yards this season — a league-worst 463.5 per game, to be exact. Having said that, the majority of the damage has come through the air, so it's a good thing that the Patriots don't have much of a passing game. Outside of wideout Jakobi Meyers, New England doesn't have many consistent passing weapons.

Patriots quarterback Mac Jones would need a performance of a lifetime to keep up with Lamar Jackson. That'll be easier said than done with Jones continuing to play through a back injury. With the Ravens having a solid enough defensive line to shut down New England's run game, I see Baltimore getting back on track here.

Final Score Prediction: Ravens: 24 | Patriots: 17

Ravens vs Patriots Betting Trends

- Baltimore is 1-7 straight up in its last eight games.
- New England is 3-6 against the spread (ATS) in its last nine games as the underdog.
- The total has hit the under in six of Baltimore's last eight road games.
- The total has hit the over in four of New England's last five games against Baltimore.

Ravens vs Patriots Best Bet

With the Patriots only covering the spread in three of their last nine games as the underdog, I'm inclined to take the Ravens on the spread here. Baltimore is 5-4-1 ATS in its last 10 games against New England and while that isn't mind-blowing, the fact that the Pats are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games helps a lot.

Bet: Ravens -3 (-114)
