Rams vs Chiefs Prediction & Pick

This is a matchup everyone had circled on their calendars coming into the season. However, injuries to Stafford as well as wide receiver Cooper Kupp leave the Rams entering Sunday as big underdogs. Keep in mind Los Angeles has beaten Kansas City just once in its last seven head-to-head matchups.

The major difference here is on offense. The Chiefs lead the NFL averaging 30.0 points per game and 6.5 yards per play. On the other side, the Rams rank ahead of only three other teams when it comes to scoring (16.8 points per game) and average a league-low 4.7 yards per play. It has been a rough year.

With Stafford ruled out and Patrick Mahomes ready to go, give me the Chiefs in a blowout.

Final Score Prediction: Rams: 14 | Chiefs: 31

Rams vs Chiefs Best Bet

Backing a team to cover a spread over two touchdowns in the NFL is always risky because so many things could go wrong. However, this is truly a matchup between the league's best and worst offense. If there is a perfect time to trust a team to blow out their opponent, it is in Week 12 with Kansas City.

The Chiefs boast the best third-down conversion percentage in the NFL (51.7%) and own the third-best red zone scoring percentage (72.1%). They are keeping drives alive and capping them off with scores. The Rams are also 0-6-1 against the spread in their last seven games against the Chiefs.

Bet: Kansas City Chiefs -15.5 (-112)
