Rams vs Cardinals Week 3 Game Info

2022 NFL Regular Season — Week 3
Los Angeles Rams (1-1, 0-0 Away) vs. Arizona Cardinals (1-1, 0-1 Home)
Date: Sunday, September 25, 2022
Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
Venue: State Farm Stadium — Glendale, AZ
Coverage: FOX

Two teams looking to move to the top of the NFC West standings meet head-to-head in Week 3 as the Los Angeles Rams visit the Arizona Cardinals. The Rams just barely earned a 31-27 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3 thanks to wideout Cooper Kupp (11 receptions, 108 yards, 2 touchdowns).

Meanwhile, the Cardinals were staring an 0-2 record right in the face before a late comeback against the Las Vegas Raiders. A two-point conversion with no time on the clock forced overtime and a scoop and score by cornerback Byron Murphy gave Arizona the win. It was a thrilling ending to say the least.

Rams vs Cardinals Odds & Spread

Moneyline: LAR: (-194) | ARI: (+162)
Spread: LAR: -3.5 (-110) | ARI: +3.5 (-110)
Total: 48.5 — Over: (-110) | Under: (-110)

Updated (Sunday, Sept. 25, 12:30 p.m. ET): Odds for this game have shifted slightly since opening. The Rams have fallen from 4-point favorites to 3.5 now, and the total has dropped from 50.5 to 48.5.

The Rams enter this contest as a small favorite on the moneyline and the spread. This 4:25 p.m. ET clash also features one of the higher projected totals (50.5) on the NFL Week 3 slate.

Rams vs Cardinals Prediction & Pick

Divisional rivalries are usually involve back and forth results, but not this one. The Rams have crushed the Cardinals as of late, winning 10 of the last 11 head-to-head matchups. LA has also won five straight away games dating back to 2021, so Arizona has a lot of obstacles to overcome on Sunday.

There's a lot to like about the Rams' chances of keeping their success going. Arizona is allowing a whopping 6.4 yards per play (No. 29 in NFL) and cannot buy a stop on third down. Welcoming an offense to town that thrives on third down (52.2% conversion) is certainly not a recipe for an upset victory.

Final Score Prediction: Rams: 30 | Cardinals: 27

Rams vs Cardinals Betting Trends

- The Rams are 10-1 straight up in their last 11 games against Arizona.
- The total has hit the under in four of the Rams' last six games.
- Arizona is 0-6 against the spread (ATS) in its last six home games.
- The total has hit the over in four of Arizona's last six games against the Rams.

Rams vs Cardinals Best Bet

All NFL betting lines, odds and prop bets are available on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Both of these teams enter Sunday with positive momentum, so staying away from a small spread is a smart idea. Shifting gears to betting on the total is a much better option. Keep in mind the scores of the Rams and Cardinals' head-to-head meetings in last year's regular season were 37-20 and 30-23.

It's safe to expect more offensive fireworks in this game, too. Both of these defenses are giving up at least 29.0 points per game and each one also thrives at setting up the offense in good field position with takeaways. All signs point to a high-scoring battle in a pivotal NFC West showdown in Arizona.
