Raiders vs Titans Week 3 Game Info

2022 NFL Regular Season — Week 3
Las Vegas Raiders (0-2, 0-1 Away) vs. Tennessee Titans (0-2, 0-1 Home)
Date: Sunday, September 25, 2022
Time: 1:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Nissan Stadium — Nashville, TN
Coverage: FOX

It's a battle between two winless teams as the Las Vegas Raiders visit the Tennessee Titans in Week 3 NFL action. Las Vegas' collapse against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 was full of costly turnovers and ugly misplays. An 0-2 start is certainly not what new head coach Josh McDaniels envisioned.

Meanwhile, the Titans suffered their first 30-point defeat in five years in a 41-7 blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. Tennessee has failed to get running back Derrick Henry going and it has resulted in back-to-back games with 20 or less points scored. That is not going to get the job done.

Moneyline: LV: (-130) | TEN: (+110)
Spread: LV: -1.5 (-110) | TEN: +1.5 (-110)

Updated (Sunday, Sept. 25, 11:30 a.m. EST): Updated odds were provided from FanDuel Sportsbook. Money has come in on the Titans, who see the line move in their favor down to just 1.5-point home underdogs. The over/under also fell to 45.5 points.

The Raiders enter this contest as a small favorite on the moneyline and the spread. This 1 p.m. ET clash also features one of the higher projected totals (46.5) on the NFL Week 3 slate.

Raiders vs Titans Prediction & Pick

These two teams haven't met since 2019 and have split their last eight head-to-head matchups. It's still surprising to see Las Vegas favored on the road, though. Keep in mind the Raiders are only 5-6 straight up in their last 11 games as a favorite. They continue to find unusual ways to lose in the end.

If Henry can't get going in this game, then the Titans may have a serious problem. Las Vegas ranks 16th is rush defense DVOA rating through two weeks and have allowed 219 yards on the ground so far. Look for head coach Mike Vrabel to grind the clock with the run and emerge victorious on Sunday.

Final Score Prediction: Raiders: 20 | Titans: 24

Raiders vs Titans Betting Trends

- Las Vegas is 4-9 against the spread (ATS) in its last 13 games.
- The total has hit the under in four of Las Vegas' last five away games.
- Tennessee is 5-1 straight up in its last six games against an AFC West opponent.
- The total has hit the under in each of Tennessee's last five home games.

Raiders vs Titans Best Bet

All NFL betting lines, odds and prop bets are available on FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Titans are desperate for a win and find themselves in an advantageous situation. Tennessee performs best when it is counted out, considering it is 3-0 in its last three games as home underdogs. Nissan Stadium is going to be rocking for this game and that aspect should not be overlooked.

Las Vegas is also only 1-10 against the spread (ATS) in its last 11 games as a favorite. The Titans' tendency to overcome the odds at home and the Raiders' tendency to underwhelm as a favorite makes the pick very clear here. Back Tennessee to get its 2022 season back on track with a W.
