Two teams vying to stay alive in the AFC Wild Card race meet head-to-head in Week 16 as the Las Vegas Raiders visit the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Raiders defeated the New England Patriots in epic fashion on Sunday. Chandler Jones' fumble recovery touchdown to end the game sealed a 30-24 win.

Meanwhile, the Steelers took care of business in a 24-16 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 15. Running backs Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren combined for 124 rushing yards and 2 scores on 35 carries. Pittsburgh's defensive outing was led by TJ Watt and Cameron Heyward (1.5 sacks each).

All NFL betting lines, odds and prop bets are from FanDuel Sportsbook.
Moneyline: LV: (+134) | PIT: (-158)
Spread: LV: +2.5 (-102) | PIT: -2.5 (-120)
Total: 39.5 — Over: (-110) | Under: (-110)

The Steelers enter this contest as slight home favorites on the moneyline and spread on FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. This Saturday night clash also features one of the lower totals on the Week 16 slate at 39.5 points.

Raiders vs Steelers Prediction & Pick

A couple of wins down the stretch could put either of these teams right back into a fight for the AFC's final playoff spot. A lot is on the line, but one clear advantage remains at quarterback. Derek Carr is heating up as he has passed for at least 230 yards and 2 touchdowns in six of his last seven games.

On the other side, the Steelers were forced to rely on Mitchell Trubisky in Week 15 with Kenny Pickett out with a concussion. Neither signal-caller is averaging more than 180 passing yards per game in 2022. As long as the Raiders can keep Harris & Warren contained, they should pull away in this one.

Las Vegas is only allowing 102.8 rushing yards per away game (No. 8 in NFL), so give me the Raiders.

Final Score Prediction: Raiders: 23 | Steelers: 17

Raiders vs Steelers Betting Trends

- Las Vegas is 4-1 straight up in its last five games against Pittsburgh.
- The total has hit the under in four of LAs Vegas' last five away games.
- Pittsburgh is 6-3 against the spread (ATS) in its last nine games.
- The total has hit the under in eight of Pittsburgh's last 10 away games.

Raiders vs Steelers Best Bet

The Raiders have a legitimate chance to win this game as All-Pro Davante Adams is set to face a Pittsburgh secondary that has allowed the fifth-most yards to opposing wide receivers (2,454). That makes grabbing an alternate spread of +3.5 at slightly juiced odds too good of an option to pass up.

Las Vegas is 4-1 against the spread (ATS) in its last five games and 5-0 ATS in its last seven games against Pittsburgh. The Steelers are 5-10 ATS in their last 15 games in December. Keep in mind the Raiders' only loss in their last five games against the Steelers came by a field goal, too. Take the points.

Bet: Las Vegas Raiders +3.5 (-130)
