The Cleveland Browns have officially been eliminated from playoff contention, but that won't strip any meaning away from their Week 18 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In a classic AFC North rivalry contest, the Browns can spoil the Steelers' slim postseason chances with a victory.

Pittsburgh needs a win over Cleveland and some help from around the league in order to make its third consecutive playoff appearance.

The league did a bang-up job creating the 2022 schedule. As usual, the league even waits for the finale of Week 17 before deciding on the final start times for each Week 18 game. Several games will be flexed into primetime slots.

The Steelers and Browns learned of their potential Week 18 start time on Monday.

According to Browns insider Tony Grossi, he's hearing that this divisional clash will likely stay put at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 8.

The other option is playing this game during the 4:25 p.m. time slot, but Grossi's sources indicate 1 p.m. ET is the most likely kickoff time.

Sunday's contest will be played at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA. For now, the Browns are considered 3-point road underdogs per NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook. Considering the line sits at just a field goal, Cleveland should have an excellent opportunity to play spoiler in the regular season finale.
