Northwestern has found success this season due to its elite defense. The Wildcats allow the third-fewest points in the nation (51.7%) on a 32.2% field-goal and 26.3% three-point (No. 23) percentages. Furthermore, they force opponents to turn the ball over on 22.0% of possessions (No. 47).

While Pittsburgh hasn't been terrible this season, it's a lot worse on the road than it is at home. The Panthers average nearly 11 fewer points on the road (63.5 PPG) than they do at home (74.4 PPG) while also giving the ball away 15.5 times in away games.
