NC State has completely dominated Pittsburgh ever since they first met in 1951. The Wolfpack have won 20 of their 23 previous matchups against the Panthers, which includes a 12-game winning streak from 2014 to 2021. Keeping that in mind, Pitt did come out with a 71-69 victory in last season's meeting.

However, I don't think that Pittsburgh will continue its success tonight. NC State has the advantage on offense, averaging 83.0 points (T-No. 17) compared to Pitt's 73.3 PPG clip (No. 117). The Wolfpack has also gotten solid play from its defenders, proven by their having the 18th-best point differential (plus-17.6).
