Phoenix Suns Second Round Playoff Schedule 2023 (Next Opponent, Game Times and Dates for Semifinal Series)

Updated:

The Phoenix Suns have officially advanced to the second round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs after taking down the Los Angeles Clippers in their opening series. Now the Western Conference's No. 4 seed prepares for a semifinals matchup.

Here's everything you need to know about the Suns' upcoming second round series.

When Do the Suns Play Next in the NBA Playoffs?

The Suns won't be waiting long for their next game. The conference semifinals round of the 2023 playoffs is slated to start on April 29, and Phoenix will be in action right away on Saturday. The 4-seed Suns will play the 1-seed for a chance to make the Western Conference Finals.

Who Will the Suns Play in Round 2 of the Playoffs?

As the 4-seed, Phoenix is set to face the 1-seed Denver Nuggets in the conference semis. Denver also won its first round series 4-1, dispatching the No. 8 Minnesota Timberwolves with relative ease.

The Suns' second round matchup will be a typical best-of-seven series that follows the 2-2-1-1-1 format. That means the better seed (Denver) hosts Games 1 and 2, plus Games 5 and 7 if those are necessary. The worse seed (Phoenix) hosts Games 3 and 4, plus Game 6 if that is necessary.

If the Suns beat the Nuggets to advance, they would then head to the Western Conference Finals with an NBA Finals berth on the line.
