Phillies vs Braves Prediction & Pick

These are two teams that know one another very well. Over the last three seasons, the Braves and Phillies have met 48 times in the regular season. Atlanta has posted a 26-22 record during those games, but there's a lot to like about Philadelphia's chances of pulling off an upset here.

Starting pitchers Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola combined to allow 0 runs on 6 hits and log 10 strikeouts in 13 innings of work during the Wild Card Round. They have proven they can keep up with the likes of Max Fried and Kyle Wright. This one is going to come down to timely hitting and capitalizing on scoring opportunities.

Philadelphia finished with the second-best batting average (.270) with runners in scoring position, so give me the Phillies here.

Final Series Prediction: Phillies Win 3-2
