Teams across the NFL are preparing to ramp up for the 2022 regular season with the start of training camp. The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the last squads to take the field as the preseason nears.

Here's everything Eagles fans need to know about training camp this year.

When Does Philadelphia Eagles Training Camp Start?

Each team has two separate start dates for training camp, as rookies are often required to report a few days before veterans. However, the Eagles are not one of those teams. Instead, both rookies and veterans alike will report on Tuesday, July 26.

This gives just two weeks to prepare for the team's first preseason game on Aug. 12.

The Eagles will host training camp at their practice facility, the NovaCare Complex, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Eagles Training Camp Dates 2022

Both Eagles rookies and vets will report to training camp on July 26. Philadelphia will then host practices to get ready for its first preseason game on Aug. 12.

The Eagles' first preseason game is at home against the New York Jets. Philadelphia also plays again on Aug. 21 (@ Cleveland Browns) and Aug. 27 (@ Miami Dolphins).

The Eagles will suit up on Sunday, Sept. 11 versus the Detroit Lions in Week 1 of the 2022 campaign.

Eagles Training Camp News

Linebacker Shaun Bradley has been a key special teams player for the Eagles over the last two seasons. Unfortunately, the former 2020 sixth-round pick underwent neck surgery back in February, likely sidelining him for the entirety of training camp and, potentially, the preseason.

It was intially reported that it would take six months for Bradley to recover, putting us in the fifth month as July nears its ended. Assuming nothing's changed, Bradley should be back sometime next month, but time will tell just how close he is to game shape.
