The Patriots looked to be on the rise after their two one-sided wins before being upset by the Bears. New England's offense just couldn't get anything going, scoring 14 points in a 3:39 window in the second quarter, only to be held off the scoreboard for the rest of the game.

Now, the Patriots have a run-in with the Jets, who are tied for the 10th-best scoring defense in the league. Furthermore, New York has given up an NFL-low 12.0 points per game over its last three outings. It also helps that it surrenders the eighth-fewest total yards at home.

Though the Jets have won four straight, those wins came against struggling and short-handed teams. Bill Belichick is one of the best coaches in NFL history and knows how to get his team back on track. I'd be surprised if the Patriots looked as bad as they did in Week 7.
