The Kansas City Chiefs locked up the AFC's No. 1 seed with another strong regular season, finishing 14-3 and securing home-field advantage throughout the postseason. Well, aside from one instance. If the Buffalo Bills meet Kansas City in the conference title matchup, the game will be played on a neutral field.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes finally opened up about the potential of this game being played in a neutral location.

Spoken like a true leader and diplomat, Mahomes acknowledged the outcome was not "going to be fair for anybody" but focused his attention on the health of Damar Hamlin instead. "I was so happy that Damar [Hamlin] was doing better and that’s the most important stuff. And so him doing better and him being in a better spot, we were ready to do whatever scenario was going to happen."

Before the eventual cancellation of Buffalo's Week 17 game against the Bengals, Buffalo sat in prime position to lock up the No. 1 seed in the conference. Mahomes knows this and opted for a classy response to the situation.

For now, the Chiefs enter the postseason with leading +330 odds to win Super Bowl 57 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
