Optimism Growing for Wan'Dale Robinson's Injury Return in Week 6

The New York Giants' wide receiving corps has been decimated to begin the 2022 season. Sterling Shepard is already out for the year, while the likes of Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney are nurisng injuries that keep them sidelined in Week 6.

However, this group may receive a reinforcement ahead of clash with the Baltimore Ravens.

According to The Athletic's Dan Duggan, head coach Brian Daboll "sounded optimistic" about Wan'Dale Robinson returning in Week 6. He injured in his knee in the first game of the season and has been able to suit up since then, but he may finally take the field on Sunday.

This is great news for the Giants. Darius Slayton is currently slated to serve as WR1 in Week 6 with the likes of Marcus Johnson and Richies James helping alongside him. Throwing Robinson back into the mix would give New York another potential weapon with Golladay and Toney both out.

Robinson didn't get showcase much before his injury, as he recorded a single catch for five yards in Week 1. The Giants certainly like his potential after making him a second-round pick back in April, and he could step into a large role when healthy given the injury woes plaguing this roster.

Hopefully Robinson avoids any setbacks and is able to give it a go in Week 6. FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds peg the Giants as 6-point home underdogs against Baltimore.
