Indiana rallied from a 24-7 halftime deficit at Michigan State to force OT and win 39-31 last week. A 79-yard TD run and 88 yard kick-off return TD were big plays in victory. Purdue had two sub-par offensive performances in two recent weeks, but did generate 380 yards offense at Illinois against the Fighting Illini's top defense in a 31-24 win Nov. 12.

Indiana's very poor rushing attack puts more pressure on now backup QB Dexter Williams II, who had just 31 passing yards in last week's misleading win. The Hoosiers allowed nearly 550 balanced yards to Michigan State, and Purdue projects to hit near 450 yards offense in victory. 

Indiana's defense (450 YPG) and pass defense (272 YPG) are dead last in the Big Ten. And the Hoosiers don't have a quarterback to bail them out on offense. Hoosiers inexperieced QB Williams made his first start last week and he's shown little passing ability in three games this season (12/37 for 179 yards and 2 INT's). Now he tries to keep up against the Big Ten's leading passer in Aidan O'Connell (283 passing YPG), and this rivalry goes Purdue's way again.
