On the flip side, the Nuggets have amassed 13 straight victories at Ball Arena, putting up 121.9 PPG on .530/.407/.736 shooting. Denver's defense has also held opponents to a 104.2 PPG in its last five home games, not boding well for Portland whatsoever.

After the Nuggets already beat the Trail Blazers twice in December, I see Denver keeping the momentum rolling tonight.

When it comes to the best bet, I have my eyes on the Nuggets as -6.5 spread favorites. Denver has consistently covered the spread recently, going 8-2-1 ATS in its last 11 games. That hasn't been the case for Portland, though. The Trail Blazers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven contests, also failing to cover in eight of the last 12 games against the Nuggets.

With the Blazers also being 0-5 ATS in their last five trips to Ball Arena, the Nuggets should win this one by a decent margin.
