  • Out of 82 Timberwolves games last season, 49 hit the over.

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets Prediction & Pick

The Timberwolves haven't played poorly in this series outside of Game 1, but the Nuggets have simply been better. That's what happens when you're a No. 8 seed going up against a No. 1 seed.

Anthony Edwards has been playing his heart out for Minnesota with 77 points over the last two games combined, but it still hasn't been enough. He's not getting enough help from his teammates, who are clearly outgunned by Denver's deeper and more talented roster.

It's hard to see the Wolves finding a way to win Game 4, even at home. They've been unable to slow down the Nuggets offense, surrendering 117 points per game on average. Minnesota also hasn't been able to find enough offense outside of Edwards, especially with Karl-Anthony Towns struggling.

The Timberwolves will put up a fight and keep things relatively close, but once again Denver will prevail.

Final Score Prediction: Nuggets: 118 | Timberwolves: 113

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets Best Bet

Given how much we like the Nuggets' chances on Sunday, we recommend taking them on the spread. They only need to win by 4 points to cover, which should be a piece of cake for them. They've won every game in this series by at least 9 points, so there's no need to worry about a backdoor cover by the Timberwolves.

Bet: Denver Nuggets -3.5 (-110)
