Nuggets vs Suns Prediction & Pick

The Nuggets looked absolutely dominant in Game 5, leading by as many as 24 points while the Suns never led by more than one. The biggest deciding factor was the fact that Denver shot 13-of-27 (48.1%) from the three-point line, whereas Phoenix only went 9-of-27 (33.3%) from beyond the arc.

Fortunately for Suns fans, they should have a better shooting performance at Footprint Center. They average 12.2 threes (No. 16) on 38.5% shooting at home (No. 4) and just shot 22-of-57 (38.6%) from three-point range against the Nuggets in Games 3 and 4 combined.

On top of that, the Suns have defeated the Nuggets in each of their last five encounters at home. Considering how Denver is an underwhelming 20-25 SU on the road this season, I don't see that trend changing against a Phoenix squad that's 32-14 SU at home, as well as 42-16 SU as the favorite.

Back Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and co. to send the Suns faithful home happy.

Final Score Prediction: Suns: 116 | Nuggets: 112

Nuggets vs Suns Best Bet

I don't see Devin Booker having any issues hitting the Over on his projected point total of 31.5. The lethal sharpshooter is pacing the NBA postseason with a 35.9 PPG clip on .601/.517/.873 shooting splits.

Not only has he hit this Over in six of his last nine games, but he's also averaging 38.8 points over five home games so far in the playoffs, going over 31.5 four times. With the Suns needing a big performance to stay alive, look for Booker to deliver.

Bet: Devin Booker — Over 31.5 Points (-115)
