The start of the 2021-22 NBA season is quickly approaching after a busy summer of offseason moves. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks will look to defend their title following their NBA Finals win over the Phoenix Suns.

NBA Season Start Date 2021-22

The 2021-22 NBA regular season will begin on Oct. 19, 2021. It will conclude on April 10, 2022.

NBA Season Start 2021 Games

There will be two games to kick off the start of the NBA regular season on Oct. 19.

NBA Opening Day 2021

The NBA's opening night for the 2021-22 season will feature the Brooklyn Nets vs Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers.

NBA Season Length 2022

The NBA will return to a full-length 82-game regular season for the 2021-22 campaign.

- Oct. 19: Regular season begins

- June 2: NBA Finals begin
- June 19: Game 7 of NBA Finals (if necessary)
- June 23: NBA Draft
