NBA Championship Odds Favor Celtics, Bucks Heading Into Second Week of Free Agency on FanDuel Sportsbook

NBA free agency officially opened last Thursday, and the first week featured plenty of signings. Trade rumors are running rampant as well as teams look to acquire available talent, like disgruntled Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant.

That deal is sure to shake up the NBA championship odds on FanDuel Sportsbook if/when it's finalized. The Toronto Raptors have already seen their standing improve (from +5000 to +3600) as rumors involving them and Durant heat up.

It's a pair of fellow east teams currently at the top, though, as the Boston Celtics (+500) and Milwaukee Bucks (+550) look to make title runs during the 2022-23 campaign.

Boston got in on the trade market this past week, landing veteran Malcolm Brogdon to give this team a great secondary scorer and playmaker to complement their star wings. Milwaukee, meanwhile, has re-signed key role players and added marksman Joe Ingles to the mix.

Another Durant contender directly follows those two squads in the Phoenix Suns (+650). Phoenix could put together an attractive trade package headlined by restricted free agent Deandre Ayton that may be enough to land KD in Arizona.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors, both +700, round out the top five. The Miami Heat (+1100) and Los Angeles Lakers (+1200) loom as two teams that could rise if they pull off rumored blockbusters for Durant and Kyrie Irving, respectively.
