The NBA 2K cover athlete reveal is always a fun summer storyline for basketball fans, and the NBA 2K23 cover should be announced within the coming weeks. Last year the reveal for 2K22 was on July 14, so a similar timeline makes sense for 2K23.

With that in mind, here's a look at every cover athlete in the history of the NBA 2K video game franchise, including the latest news on the 2K23 cover.

NBA 2K23 Cover Reveal News

The main cover athlete for the NBA 2K23 standard edition has not been revealed, but one special cover athlete has. 2K23 will mark the return of the Jordan Edition, with Michael Jordan fittingly gracing the '23 cover. Alongside the cover appearance, 2K will bring back the "Jordan Challenges", which debuted when MJ was on the cover in 2K11.
