Music City Bowl History

The Quick Lane Bowl has been played since 1998. It has featured teams from the Big Ten and SEC conferences.

Tennessee is 1-1 in two previous Music City Bowl appearances. The Volunteers last played in the 2016 bowl, beating the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 38-24.

On the other hand, Purdue is 0-1 in its only Music City Bowl appearances. The Boilermakers were blown out, 63-14, by the Auburn Tigers Tide in 2018.
