While the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game itself get most of the attention during MLB All-Star Weekend, the calendar is full of exciting events for baseball fans everywhere to enjoy. Let's check out a full breakdown of the upcoming schedule for 2022 MLB All-Star Weekend.

When is the MLB All-Star Break

The MLB All-Star Break officially kicks off after one remaining series for all 30 teams. Teams will play regular season contests through Sunday, July 17 before the All-Star festivities get underway. The regular season will not resume until Thursday, July 21 when 12 teams are in action. All 30 teams will resume the second half of the season on Friday, July 22.

2022 Home Run Derby

The 2022 T-Mobile Home Run Derby will take place on Monday, July 18, 2022. It can be viewed live on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET, or streamed using the ESPN app.

2022 Celebrity All-Star Softball Game

The 2022 MLB Celebrity All-Star Softball game will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. This event will follow the All-Star Futures Game with a start time approximately at 10:15 p.m. ET, or 7:15 p.m. local time.

The game can be streamed live on YouTube, Peacock, Pluto TV and MLB's social media channels. Although, the game will not be shown on broadcast television until Monday, July 18, at 10:30 p.m. ET (7:30 p.m. local time) after the Home Run Derby.

The best baseball players on the planet converge on Dodger Stadium on Tuesday, July 19 for the 92nd Midsummer Classic. The game will air live on FOX with a first pitched scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET or 4:30 p.m. local PT time.
