The 6.5 -point spread suggests this isn't going to be a total blowout, but as +220 underdogs it would be a pretty big shocker if Wake Forest pulled this one off. The game should also be an exciting one, with a 156.5-point over/under.

Miami vs Wake Forest Prediction & Pick

With one of the ACC's (and really the entire country's) best offenses, it's hard to pick against a rested Miami team, which is averaging 79.6 points per game on the year. This is especially true when we see Wake Forest ranking just No. 200 in the country by allowing a 44.6% shooting percentage to opponents.

We saw that play out the first time these two met this season as well, with Miami absolutely snapping to the tune of 96 points on 58.7% shooting.

Wake's starters all got run into the ground in yesterday's close game (including 40 minutes played for Tyree Appleby and 37 for Davien Williamson), and tired legs aren't going to make it any easier to slow down this Miami attack.

Despite what I said above in my prediction, there's one area to get excited about for Wake Forest here.

Miami ranks outside the top 100 in defending the 3-point line (allowing opponents to hit at a 33.1% rate), and only 14 teams in the country average more than Wake Forest's 9.5 made 3's per game on the year. They're also not afraid to let it fly, having put up 35 3-point attempts the last time they played Miami (hitting 15 of them).

I don't think they can keep up with the 'Canes, but I do think they're going out in style here.
