The New York Mets look primed to make their first postseason appearance since 2016 and remain a legitimate threat to win the World Series. That hasn't stopped fans from diving into the 2023 schedule released on Wednesday afternoon. It's a schedule that is chock full of exciting games and key series.

New York Mets 2023 Schedule

The Mets will open the season with a four-game series in Miami against the Marlins from March 30 to April 2. New York could easily get off to a hot start considering it owns a 11-4 record in its last 15 games against Miami. The early seven-game road trip concludes against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Fans looking to get a first glimpse of the Mets at Citi Field can do so in the home opener on April 6. That is when the Marlins come to town for a three-game weekend series. It's worth noting the Mets will play on the road for 17 of their first 23 games of the season. Their talent is going to be tested.

The Mets will also play every American League team at least once for the first time in franchise history. That includes home series against the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees. Manager Buck Showalter's squad will end the season with 13 straight games against NL East opponents.

Season memberships are already on sale for anyone looking to support the Mets as often as they can. Single-game tickets, start times and promotions will be released in the coming months, though.

The Mets currently have the fourth-best odds to win the World Series at +600, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
