Mets Announce Exciting News on Spring Training TV Schedule

Updated:

Pitchers and catchers are reporting this week for MLB teams around the league and the official start of Spring Training is right around the corner.

New York Mets fans got an exciting first look at Justin Verlander in the orange and blue walking into their Port St. Lucie facility this morning. Things got even more exciting for Mets fans when they found out about the TV schedule for the Spring Training games.

The first game kicks off on February 25 and continue on until March 26, Gary Cohen Ron Darling and Kieth Hernandez will be the broadcast team for that February 25 opener.

This is especially significant because just mere days ago, Keith Hernandez was still a broadcasting free agent, and had endured a months-long public feud with the Mets TV network, SNY, over his new contract.

Ultimately, the two sides were able to come to an agreement and get the band back together. Revered as one of the best local broadcast teams in all of baseball, Gary, Keith and Ron will be back in the booth together and all will be right in Mets world to kick off the 2023 season.
