Maxx Crosby Tweets Shocked Reaction to All-Pro Snub

Updated:

Maxx Crosby was the heart and soul of the Las Vegas Raiders' defense once again in 2022. After a breakout campaign that saw him make the All-Pro Second Team last season, the pass rusher seemed like a lock to earn a spot once again following an even better campaign this year.

However, it turns out the Raiders star was snubbed from both All-Pro teams. He tweeted his reaction to the news once it came out.

It's safe to say the 25-year-old was stunned. He tweeted a simple "Wow." and didn't comment any further.

Crosby being excluded from this honor is a major surprise. He hit another level in 2022, recording a career-high 12.5 sacks and leading the league in tackles for loss with 22. He also added four passes defended and three forced fumbles for good measure, but somehow didn't make the cut.

Instead, Micah Parsons and Nick Bosa were named to First Team for edge rushers, while Myles Garrett and Haason Reddick made the Second Team. Reddick sticks out here, as Crosby outpaced him in most categories.

It's a shame Crosby wasn't able to repeat as an All-Pro and join fellow teammates Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams and Daniel Carlson as an honoree. Hopefully it fuels him to be even better in 2023.
