Time: 8:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Cox Pavilion — Las Vegas, NV

The Dallas Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks meet head-to-head in Summer League action on Thursday night. Dallas cannot seem to find their footing, dropping each of its first three games. Jerrick Harding acted as the lone bright spot on Tuesday as he poured in 20 points (7-for-13 shooting) off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Bucks rebounded from a tough loss with a 87-75 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Second year pro Sandro Mamukelashvili put on a show with 18 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. 2022 first-round pick MarJon Beauchamp also posted 15 points in the victory.

Mavericks vs Bucks Prediction & Pick

Dallas' defense has been their downfall during the Summer League. The Mavericks have racked up a whopping 95 personal fouls over the course of three games, which allows for their opponent to grab easy points at the free throw line. Expect more of the same against a Bucks team that loves to drive to the rim.

Milwaukee's win on Tuesday would've been by a much bigger margin if it took care of the basketball (22 turnovers). After all, the Bucks drained 15 three-pointers and out-rebounded the Timberwolves by 13 (47-34). They should have no trouble pulling away here if they can improve on their sloppy handling.

I'll back a talented Bucks squad to cover the -2.5 spread (-118).
